8.10pm Meeting opened
1, Praise was given to the organisers for the 2021 mini series for all their efforts to get the series back up and running and in a covid free enviroment.
2, It was agreed to keep entry fees the same for 2022 £12 for 16's and over and £5 for the 12 - 15 Youth category.
3, It was agreed to bring back entries on the night put the cost would be £15, so an extra £3 over pre entries.
4, It was agreed that members would look into the possibility of an i-zettle or something similar for cashless payments for entries on the line but cash could & would be accepted.
5, It was agreed to still limit the numbers but the number would rise to 40 per category. If this number was reached by pre entries in a certain category the NO entries on the line would be available for that category.
6, It was agreed that there would still be NO "On the night" prizes given out but just like with the 2021 series, all prize winners would be notified after the series had been concluded and the prize money would be either paid via Bacs or Paypal or donated to the series or a nominated charity.
7, It was agreed to cap this years series to 10 counting races (calendar below) 6 to count for an overall series placement.
8, Rugby Velo announced they planned to bring back their Team Relay race as a "Bit of fun" and also they plan to put on 3 longer "Enduro" races on during the summer DATES to be confirmed but most likely Saturdays.
9, It was agreed that a social evening or presentation evening would be looked into for the series finale at either East Carlton Country Park, West Glebe Park - Corby or Kilworth Springs Golf Club.
10, As the series missed out on celebrating it's 30th year (2021) it was felt members would look into something to celebrate a 30+1 anniversary (20th was celebrated with medals for all & 25th with special race winners jerseys)
11, It was announced that the series had a new website and domain name www.fnssmtb.co.uk and the domain had been secured for the next 10 years with an automatic renewal. The site is live but still under final construction.
12, It was announced that 2021 had been a learning curve for the series and online entries and due to riders have difficulties with selecting the correct categories when using their phone to enter, the 247cycleshop website had now set up separate pages for each of the 9 possible categories with direct links from the new site.
13, As the prizes donated by Extra UK for the 2020 series didn't get awarded as there was no series, Extra UK would stay as title sponsors and the prizes would be award in the 2022 series
14. Numplumz announced that they would be holding their MTB Marathon again in 2022 with a 50km and 100km option and the date would be Sunday 18th September
