Minutes of the 2022 AGM
Attendies:

Meeting opened at 8pm at The Stag, Maidwell.
1, As no-one that was present was representing the argument for e.bikes to take part in the series, the motion was passed to keep e.bikes excluded from the series.
However, should any member wish to promote an e.bike specific stand alone event then measures would be taken to look into the insurance implications and cover.
2, Neil Holman told the members present that he had not heard from Team Jewson, Team MK, Velowheels or the Welland Valley CC with regards to submitting a date & promoting an event in the 2023 series
3, Neil Holman told the members that he had been approached by members of Melton Olympic with regards to promoting an event in the 2023 or 2024 series and they had been invited along to the meeting.
4, Neil Holman had forgot to tell the members that on behalf of the FNSS he had made a donation of £100 towards the motorised wheelchair appeal for long time series competitor Nick Selibas
5, All members agreed to keep 2 Fridays during the summer free from racing to give committee members / Time keepers Neil & Ian a break
6, All members agreed that the series would end on Friday 18th August, hopefully with the BBQ & Fancy dress race again.
7, All members agreed to keep entry fees the same for 2023 £12 online & £15 on the night
8, All members agreed to keep FNSS payment levies the same for 2023, this covers insurance, professional first aid cover & end of series trophies.
9, Neil Holman told the members present that all but a couple of 2022 prize winners had received their winnings. Over £3800 had been handed out in cash prizes with £160 given back as donations and £127 as unclaimed.
10, Sorry - late amendment as I forgot to put it in my minutes. One for Pete Harris, Peter Mooney, Peter Busby and many others, for the 2023 series, the Super Grand Veteran Over 60 category will be an official standalone separate category and not a sub category of the Grand Veteran over 50's, so full prize list every race rather than 1st place only. Sign of we are all getting older and living & racing longer
